I don't know about joy, but

fresh air,

green hills with yellow poppies,

turkeys milling by the creek --

I must be close.

Short walks in the sun...

Short walks in the sun--
these glimmers of joy
will have to do.

Joy of being fat...

Joy of being fat:
cat lies on my hip, happy
to find padding there.
